two lost souls was created by two jobbing NHS Talking Therapies (formerly IAPT) therapists who wanted to make the path into, through, and beyond HICBT training feel less opaque and taxing than it needs to be.
We make podcasts about what it’s actually like to train and work as an HICBT therapist (including the bits training courses often gloss over) and we give you access to honest conversations with influential voices in CBT and psychology.
We also build practical tools to take the sting out of the KSA process and help you stay grounded in session, so you can focus on the work rather than the admin around it.

Ravi qualified as a CBT therapist in 2022, after previously being in a range of roles within health and social care (following tiny stints in social media marketing and recruitment). He describes himself as an eclectic CBT therapist, using an array of tools from the various waves of CBT.

Michelle qualified as a CBT therapist in 2017, having previously worked as a humanistic counsellor. Since then, she has also added MBCT to her therapy tool bag, and although she does less clinical work now, she also enjoys providing supervision to CBT trainees at a university, alongside her main role as a talking therapies service manager.
